WHO WE ARE

We are a small artist lead studio with two artists: Yunus and Elizabeth. We work in all kinds of materials, ceramic, bronzes, plaster and whatever is found that can be used in our work.

We have been working on sculptures for many years and here are some of the results.

YUNUS

Yunus likes to concentrate on abstact work, taking his inspiration from textures found in nature. Plants, stones and rocks, water flowing over sand and gauging out interesting textures are all inspiration for his work.

ELIZABETH

Elizabeth works mainly in ceramics. Animals are her main inspiration. Horses, dogs, elephants, large of small and be found in her work. Simple techniques combined with simple finishings and minimal glazing are used. The pieces are mostly finished by smoking in a sawdust kiln.
